The last few days here in San Diego have been a bit gloomy. A nice reprieve from the bright sun I haven’t quite gotten used to again yet, but still not as welcome as it used to be. And as I sit here sipping my coffee and eating a couple Thin Mints, I am reminded of that time I helped orchestrate a beautiful beach proposal only for it to rain on the day and had to immediately find a last minute solution that was just as fabulous. I reached out to my Facebook community and they did not disappoint, giving me this fantastic backup plan in the nick of time.

Although not available again for wedding proposals in San Diego until 2021, The California Tower made the most breathtaking backup for our washed out plan A. After it reopens in early 2021, do yourselves a favor and consider this beautiful location as the spot for your “i do” hopes and dreams. For now, check the weather apps carefully and get out to the beach.

Aren’t they just so sweet and I love how much she glowed afterwards, they were just a great pair. I hope their wedding in Illinois was just as beautiful as this proposal was.
